This certification is open to the general public but is designed with consultants and integrators in mind. To qualify, you must already hold a valid FME Certified Professional certification. Additionally, it is recommended, but not required, that you have at least two years of FME experience.

Steps to Certification
1. Determine If You Qualify
This certification is open to the general public but is designed with consultants and integrators in mind. You must be an FME Certified Professional to apply for this certification. To qualify, it is recommended, but not required, that you have at least two years of FME experience.
2. Complete Required Study Material
Complete the required study material on this page.
Note: you do not have to have these items marked "Complete" on the FME Academy to qualify. For example, you could learn this material through a course delivered by a Safe Software partner or have completed the course in the past. We recommend re-taking training before applying or renewing to ensure you are up-to-date with the features of the latest FME version.
3. Understand Talview Requirements
To become certified, you must complete an online exam while observed by a proctor. A third party, Talview, conducts this proctoring. Make sure you review the rest of this course to learn about the system requirements and process of taking a proctored exam.
4. Pay for the Exam
The certification application fee is $150 USD (plus applicable taxes) per exam attempt, payable to the proctoring service Talview when you register for this course.
5. Take the Exam
The exam consists of multiple choice questions. To pass the exam, you must achieve at least 70%. This exam has a 3-hour time limit.
You will receive the results of your exam via email shortly after completing it. If you pass, a certificate will be issued at that time. You can access the certificate again by visiting your FME Academy profile. If you fail, you can reattempt the exam after 24 hours.
FME Flow Professional Certifications are valid for 3 years.
